Independent Journalist Armando Betancourt Avoids Additional Sentence Camagüey, July 4, 2007. During a trial held yesterday, the Municipal Court in the city of Betancourt Reina has been imprisoned since May 23, 2006, under charges of public disorder. He was detained while observing a forced eviction that was taking place at La Guernica, in Camagüey. Since then, he has been unjustly incarcerated at ‘Cerámica Roja’ Prison in Camagüey. Betancourt Reina was previously tried on Julio Romero, member of the Free Expression Solidarity Movement, informed the Cuban Democratic Directorate yesterday: “Soon we will have our brother among us once again.
