Antúnez, Berta Soler and Sara Marta Fonseca will testify tomorrow at the Subcommittee on Global Human Rights in the US Congress

WASHINGTON, DC, February 4th, 2015. The Subcommittee on Global Human Rights at the US House of Representatives has invited to testify in the hearing entitled “Human Rights in Cuba: A Squandered Opportunity” Cuban Resistance leaders Jorge Luis García Pérez “Antúnez” representative of the Cuban National Civic Resistance Front, Berta Soler Fernandez, representative of Ladies in White, and Sara Marta Fonseca Quevedo, important opposition activist recently exiled. The hearing will take place on Thursday February 5th, 2015 at 10:00 AM, in Room 2172 of the Rayburn House Office Building. “I am thankful for this invitation and I will do my best to represent with dignity all my brothers and sisters of the Resistance inside Cuba and specially the political prisoners”, said Antúnez from Washington, DC. Berta Soler also testified this February 3rd, at the US Senate in a hearing organized by Bob Menendez (D) and Marco Rubio (R) along with other members of the Cuban internal Resistance. ###
