CUBAN DEMOCRATIC DIRECTORATE: SUPPORTING THE GROUP MEETINGS FRENTE DE RESISTENCIA CÍVICA ORLANDO ZAPATA TAMAYO: “NO ARRIAREMOS LA DIGNIDAD” (NO CONCEDING OUR DIGNITY) FUNDACIÓN CUBA LIBRE: Protest Against Obama-Kerry failed policy on Cuba Miami, Florida, August 13th 2015. Cuban Democratic Directorate. The Cuban Democratic Directorate joins in support of Frente de Resistencia Cívica Orlando Zapata Tamayo in Cuba, in their announcement today launching "No arriaremos la dignidad (No conceding our dignity)". The Directorate will also support their presence at the Fundación Cuba Libre in their peaceful protest "against Obama-Kerry’s failed Cuban policy” tomorrow, Friday. “This call for action is named "No arriaremos la dignidad," (No conceding our dignity) and will take place in all parts of the country wherever we find a human rights organization, wherever it is found a political opposition party, wherever it is found a Cuban who considers the dignity of the Cuban people above anything and anyone negotiating relaxed relations,” said Jorge Luis Garcia Perez "Antunez" on the call for "No arriaremos la dignidad." Meanwhile the young organizers of Fundación Cuba Libre reported in its release: "We will be conducting a nonviolent protest using a series of posters to display our message. The protest will end with a silent prayer vigil for the victims of the Castro regime and for a free Cuba.” The Cuban Democratic Directorate will hoist the Cuban flag at its headquarters on Friday, August 14, at 3:00 pm, in support of the call " No arriaremos la dignidad " and participate in the protest "against Obama-Kerry’s failed Cuban policy" to be held on the same Friday, at 6:00 pm, on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant "La Carreta" located at 8650 SW Bird Road (40 Street), in Miami. We urge all to defend human rights and freedom of the Cuban people by supporting both calls for action.
