Organizaciones del exilio cubano constituyen la Asamblea de la Resistencia
Recordando la ola represiva del 2003
Marcando el sexto aniversario de la ola represiva conocida como la Primavera Negra, más de 50 organizaciones del exilio cubano se dieron cita en el salón Alhambra del hotel Biltmore en Coral Gables para coordinar más efectivamente sus esfuerzos en apoyo a la Campaña de No Cooperación con la Dictadura en Cuba, conformando así la Asamblea de la Resistencia.
La Asamblea de la Resistencia constituye un primer paso hacia la segunda fase de la Campaña de No Cooperación con la Dictadura en Cuba, en respaldo a la resistencia.
El evento culminó con una vigilia por la libertad de todos los prisioneros políticos cubanos, incluyendo a las víctimas de la Primavera Negra.
Durante el acto, representantes de más de 50 organizaciones que promueven y apoyan la Campaña de No Cooperación suscribieron la constitución de la Asamblea de la Resistencia y recibieron mensajes de apoyo por parte de dignatarios internacionales presentes en el evento.

Cuban Exile Organizations Establish the Assembly of the Resistance
More than 50 organizations in the Cuban exile community gathered on March 18, the sixth anniversary of the Cuban crackdown known as the “Cuban Black Spring”, at the Alhambra Ballroom of the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables to coordinate more effectively their efforts in support of the Non-Cooperation with the Dictatorship Campaign by establishing the Assembly of the Resistance.
The Assembly of the Resistance is the first step of the second phase of the Non-Cooperation with the Dictatorship in Cuba Campaign, to support the resistance movement in the island.
The event culminated with a vigil for the freedom of all Cuban political prisoners, including the victims of the Black Spring.
During the occasion, representatives of more than 50 organizations that promote and support the Non-Cooperation with the Dictatorship Campaign signed the constitution of the Assembly of the Resistance and received messages of solidarity from international dignitaries present at the event.
