Compatriots in exile, distinguished guests:

I deliver this message exposed to the restrictions of a Castro prison. As a logical result of the iron censorship existing here, I can only say that I congratulate all of the attendees with solidarity in the name of all the jailed political opposition in this country.

This encounter in the heroic and legendary city of Prague should be an opportune occasion for the free and democratic world to agree on implementing actions that will mean a total break in the short term and without equivocation with the regime on the Island. At the present juncture political, economic and diplomatic isolation would surely ruin this dictatorship, the most disgraceful of the many that have existed.

To the organizers of the event, especially to our Czech brothers and sisters, all our gratitude and affection as well as faith and certainty that, like you, we Cubans earlier rather than later will demolish our totalitarian oppression and will build a free and democratic homeland.

Embraces to all from the prison of Ariza in Cienfuegos.
