Independent Library Gastón Baquero opens on the 24th of August

On the 24th of August, The Independent Library Gastón Baquero located on Carlos Manuel de Céspedes street number 2007, between de Cárdenas Avenue and General Marrero, Banes City was inaugurated, according to Martha Villa Rondón, a reporter and director of such library. The objective of this new establishment is to offer free literature and democracy without censorship while breaking the “taboos” imposed by totalitarianism, from which more than 90,000 citizens of this town suffer.

 

The people know and manifest the manipulation that the regime inflicts on real and immediate information. The media responses solely to the government’s interests, since millions of Cubans are willing protest against the many violations that are made in all economic and social spheres.
