Campaign in solidarity with the Cuban people strengthens

Exile activists stand outside La Carreta on Bird Rd.

Representatives of various Cuban exile organizations met this past Saturday, August 5th at the intersection of Bird road and 87th Avenue, in front of La Carreta Restaurant to reaffirm their support to the call fro non-cooperation with the dictatorship launched by political prisoners and democratic human rights activists within Cuba.

Despite the rain, members of the community approached the demonstrators to obtain more information about the non-cooperation campaign and showed enthusiasm and support.

The non-cooperation campaign was launched on July 25th in a press conference given by exile organizations MAR for Cuba, Plantados until Liberty and Democracy in Cuba, and the Cuban Democratic Directorate.
