ASSEMBLY OF THE CUBAN RESISTANCE ANNOUNCES A HUMANITARIAN INITIATIVE TO SUPPORT THE SYRIAN PEOPLE

MIAMI, June 8, 2012. Assembly of the Cuban Resistance. The Assembly of the Cuban Resistance and the Syrian American exiles called upon Cuban-Americans and the community in general to donate the following medicines urgently needed for the victims and survivors of the most recent masacres in Syria, which represent heinous violation of human rights. · Antibiotics, · Pain killers · Anti diarrhea · Medicine for the treatment of hypertension, · Medicine for the treatment of Asthma, · Asthma inhalers · Medicine for the treatment of diabetes During the press conference two videos from Syria were shown: images of the aftermath of the most recent massacre on June 6 in Hama, claiming more than a hundred victims including women and children, and a show of solidarity from Syrian demonstrators against the Castro dictatorship and in support of the Cuban Resistance.
