ANTÚNEZ ON HUNGER STRIKE Cuban political prisoner, Antúnez, is denied family calls and other basic rights for speaking on Radio Republica “The Chief of Interior Security who goes by the name "Didier", indicated to the people who distribute food that my brother could not receive food in the cell where he is located, and he told my brother that from that moment, his right to telephone calls was suspended, and he said that Radio República and These rights, for which Antúnez carried out another hunger strike in November 2005, should not be used by Kilo 7 Prison authorities to taunt prisoners. Antúnez, who has been unjustly imprisoned for almost 16 years, at least has the right to denounce the human rights violations committed against political prisoners and common prisoners in the Kilo 7 prison in Camagüey. The Cuban Democratic Directorate blames the prison official Julio César Bombino González, from the Camagüey province’s State Security and Major Filiberto Hernández Luis, Director of the Kilo 7 prison for anything that may happen to Antúnez at this moment. In the same manner, we raise an alert to the international community, democratic countries, and international human rights organizations to become echoes of this injustice.
